Well, he’s done so well that he recently had his ‘button’ removed 😍 because he no longer needs foods or medicines injected directly into his stomach.
This is MASSIVE news and SUCH a big achievement 🥰
Celebration? Well, his new favourite food is cheese pizza, so it seemed only right to hold his very own pizza party. He invited a friend and also some adults who have been part of the journey. He was SO proud to tell people why we were having a party.
Pudding? We’re glad you asked - we had a creme egg Oreo and washed it all down with a hot chocolate (also his favourites).

From making bug gardens for worms and creepy crawlies to a conga lion and the creation of a very long aqueduct, there was so much to see and do.
The weather is due to be fine again tomorrow so we are hoping we can have a Trekking Thursday and maybe even a Freedom Friday… this will look suspiciously like a Wandering Wednesday apart from the whole ‘Wednesday’ bit.

15 children from Year 5 were interviewed before becoming part of our Mini Police. The children have been learning how to use police equipment (walkie talkies), dust for finger prints and use the phonetic alphabet. They have also learned about the different ranks and how to march. During their sessions, the children have also made posters to raise awareness and completed a litter pick.
On the 16th March, our Mini Police will be going the Police Headquarters to see how the communication center works.
