Dear parents/carers,
Year 5 Explorer Dome - Space Workshop
We have some exciting news. We have booked an educational visitor to school for the children in Year 5. The workshop has been chosen to provide children with an experience to inspire their learning in science during Term 2. We kindly ask for donations towards this educational visit. Regrettably, if we do not receive sufficient contributions, we may need to cancel the visit.

Explorer Dome – The Environment Show |
|
Explorer Dome will be bringing their dome to Mendip Green to provide our children with a hands-on, interactive and curiosity-led show. The children will immerse themselves in an inspiring tour of our sun, solar system, galaxy and beyond. They will learn about our sun as a star, its birth, death and the evolution of other stars. They will refresh their knowledge about the spin, orbit and axial tilt of the Earth and navigate through the seasonal night sky with the legends from ancient Greek mythology. |
