PTA Dates
29th September 2026
Dear parents/carers,
PTA Dates for your diary
We wanted to start the new school year with a huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our AGM and first PTA meeting of the year.
It was genuinely lovely to see so many faces around the table, including lots of new ones. We had a really positive meeting, plenty of ideas and lots of enthusiasm for the year ahead.
Our PTA simply wouldn’t work without the support of our school community. Whether you come along to meetings, volunteer for an hour at an event, donate something, buy a raffle ticket, attend our events or simply share our posts - every bit of support makes a difference.
We have lots planned for 2026/27 and wanted to give you our main dates nice and early so you can get them in your diaries:
- 🎄 Christmas Fair – Friday 27th November, from 5pm
- 🎅 A Magical Afternoon with Santa – Saturday 12th December, from 12pm (ticketed event)
- 🎬 Movie Afternoon – Saturday 16th January
- 🐰 Easter Disco – Wednesday 24th March
- 🌈 Colour Run – Saturday 15th May (ticketed event)
- ☀️ Summer Fete – Saturday 3rd July
There will be other fundraising activities and events popping up throughout the year too, so keep an eye on our PTA Facebook page and school communications for more information.
We would also love to welcome more people to our PTA meetings. There is absolutely no expectation to attend every meeting or volunteer for everything! If you would like to be involved, share an idea, help at an occasional event or simply find out a little more about what we do, please get in touch. Everyone is welcome.
Everything we raise goes back into supporting the children and enhancing their experiences at Mendip Green, and we’re really excited about what we can achieve together this year.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support. We’re looking forward to a brilliant year!
Laura
On behalf of the Mendip Green PTA Committee
